Description

Isola Powertekk, a Norwegian manufacturer of roofing materials, utilized this software to design, simulate, and virtually commission a robotic workstation for riveting gutter brackets. The project was carried out by Blumenbecker Prag, Siemens Solutions Partner, at Isola Powertekk’s facility in Olomouc.

Siemens Process Simulate allows engineers to simulate operation of both robots from different manufacturers and the whole production line cycles in a unified environment. Engineering firms can use Siemens Process Simulate to design and simulate simple workstations as well as highly complex robotic manufacturing cells, ensuring synchronized movements of multiple robots. The tools for precise robot motion simulation enable the design of collision-free paths for all robots while optimizing their cycle times.
